Laura Jaffe Laura came to the world of visual art and painting rather late in life. She never thought she would find this particular outlet for expression, although she has always had artistic endeavors via piano and dance.

She finds when in her studio, engrossed in the work, she is free from the everyday stressors and can create… When she approaches a blank canvas, she starts to feel what brush, what color, what other media form calls her. She prefers creating abstract works, revealing itself in color, texture, values, and lines. She would like for anyone viewing her art to just feel it, and see what emotions are evoked.
